PRODUCTION PROCESS
STONAGE® is produced through a "cast moulding" process by a low pressure injection into the mould especially designed and built to cope with all the demands of the market.
Once inside the mold, under accurate operating conditions, the material undergoes a chemical reaction, suitably catalyzed, which determines the final structure and the inherent characteristics of the STONAGE® solid surface.
CASTING
STONAGE® is produced with 100% Acrylic resin MMA and ATH Bauxite ore powder, the raw materials are adequately dosed with formulas designed for each individual product: the mass of viscous liquid is obtained by special installations is injected in the molds.
The casting, the subsequent stages of polymerization, and the after curing, are fundamental elements for obtaining of the finished product.

Flattening and Calibration
After casting, the STONAGE® products are led to the workability conditions. The exceeded parts and the thickness made redundant are eliminated by the latest generation machines and tools.
Proper surface preparation allows you to make dimensional, optical, chemical, essential controls and get ready for the next step.

CUT
The cutting, shaping, contouring, drilling are performed by NC, 3 and 5 axes machines and special equipment. The use of these technologies allows us to make precise and special processes.
The quality of the finished product depends on these processes, that we manage thanks to our 30-years- experience in the use and management of such instruments.

Sanding and finishing
The use of abrasive paper weights from 80 to 1000 allows us to obtain mat, smooth and velvety surfaces, that features all STONAGE® products.
After the finish by sanding, STONAGE® material expresses the maximum of his qualities for which is universally appreciated.
